With walls adorned with David Bailey’s black and white portraits from the swinging sixties, Le Caprice is a French art deco restaurant in posh Mayfair.
Brick Lane Beigel Bakery
A veritable institution in Whitechapel, Brick Lane Beigel Bakery is a 24 hour bakery that churns out over 7000 bagels a night.
159 Brick Lane, Shoreditch, London E1 6SB
A microcosm of London’s shifting ethnic patterns, the area around Brick Lane in East London was once associated with slums and Jack the Ripper murders. More recently, Brick Lane is edgy and avant garde, favoured by artists and the trendy.
Surrounded by the upmarket and fashionable areas of St John’s Wood, Regent’s Park, Belsize Park and Swiss Cottage, Primrose hill affords a grand view of central London.
