Brick Lane

A microcosm of London’s shifting ethnic patterns, the area around Brick Lane in East London was once associated with slums and Jack the Ripper murders. More recently, Brick Lane is edgy and avant garde, favoured by artists and the trendy.

Surrounded by the upmarket and fashionable areas of St John’s Wood, Regent’s Park, Belsize Park and Swiss Cottage, Primrose hill affords a grand view of central London.
